You are cordially invited to join us in Mohandes Monthly Seminar entitled:
"Design and Construction of Transit Facilities"
Wednesday, Sep 6th, 2017 at 6:15 PM
Sheraton Hotel 600 Hwy 7 E, Richmond Hill
Agenda of the Meeting:
These are exciting times in Canada from an infrastructure perspective, particularly in the transit world. TTC's Union Station second platform and concourse improvement and Front Street revitalization project is the winner of:
2016 Consulting Engineer of Ontario, Willis Chipman Award
2016 Canadian Consulting Engineering Award of Excellence
2017 Toronto Urban Design Award
It would have to rank right up there as being one of the most challenging projects we have seen this decade: not only was it technically daunting, but it all had to be done with 100,000 passengers flowing through the station each day; and it had to be completed with a very firm deadline: the Pan Am games.
