Cyber security is one of the youngest sectors in today's industry. In October 2012, amid challenges with budget deficit, Canada's Public Safety Minister announced an additional $155 million of funding towards cyber security. Studies point that cyber security spending will keep increasing with a astonishing rate of 6.2% year-over-year for the next 5 years. This talk will provide an insight into the sector, how to enter and what is it like to work in this sector, and how does the development in this sector affect every day life.
